2. 48-Hour Cooling-Off Period

Full Refund Eligibility

You may cancel your order and receive a 100% refund within 48 hours of your purchase, provided that:

  • No work has commenced on your project
  • You have not submitted your career information or materials
  • No initial consultation has taken place
  • The cancellation request is submitted in writing to info@cvjamaica.com

How to Cancel During Cooling-Off Period

  2. Include your full name, order number, and purchase date
  3. Confirm that no work has begun on your project
  4. Refunds will be processed within 5 business days and typically appear in your account within 10-14 business days depending on your bank and payment method

3. 7-Day Service Guarantee

Quality Assurance Promise

If you are not satisfied with the quality of your initial draft, you may request a refund within 7 days of receiving your first document delivery. CV Jamaica will:

  • First attempt to resolve any issues through your plan's included revision rounds
  • Provide alternative writing approaches or formatting options
  • Offer a partial refund (15-40%) if expectations cannot be met within your revision allowance

Service Guarantee Conditions

  • You must provide specific, constructive feedback about your concerns
  • Allow reasonable opportunity to address issues through your plan's revision process
  • Demonstrate that the delivered work does not meet the specifications agreed upon
  • Submit your guarantee claim in writing within the 7-day window

Intellectual Property and Usage Rights

By requesting a refund after receiving any draft or completed work, you agree to:

  • Not use, modify, or distribute any content, formatting, or ideas from the delivered materials
  • Delete all copies of delivered documents from your devices
  • Acknowledge that continued use of delivered work constitutes acceptance and waives refund eligibility
  • Understand that CV Jamaica reserves the right to verify non-usage as a condition of refund processing

4. When Refunds May Be Granted

CV Jamaica may provide a full refund in the following circumstances:

  • Service Failure: CV Jamaica fails to deliver any documents within 7 business days of the promised delivery date
  • Payment Errors: Duplicate charges, processing errors, or unauthorized transactions
  • Technical Issues: Website or system errors that prevent proper service delivery
  • Force Majeure: Circumstances beyond control that prevent service delivery entirely

Partial Refund Situations

Partial refunds (15-40% of service cost) may be considered when:

  • Service delivery is significantly delayed due to oversight
  • The initial draft requires revisions beyond your plan's standard allowance
  • Communication breakdowns result in misaligned expectations
  • Client dissatisfaction cannot be resolved through the standard revision process

Pro-Rated Refunds for Subscription Plans

For our subscription-based services, refunds are calculated based on services rendered:

  • No services delivered: 100% refund (minus processing fees)
  • Initial draft delivered: Up to 40% refund possible
  • Revisions provided: Up to 15% refund possible
  • Additional services used: Refund reduced proportionally

5. Non-Refundable Situations

When Refunds Are Not Available

Refunds will not be provided in the following circumstances:

  • Completed Services: After final documents have been delivered and client approval received
  • Client Delays: Delays in project completion due to client unresponsiveness (beyond 7 business days)
  • Change of Mind: Simple change of mind after the cooling-off period has expired
  • Employment Outcomes: Failure to secure interviews, job offers, or desired employment outcomes
  • External Factors: Rejection by employers, changes in job market conditions, or economic factors
  • Provided Information: Issues arising from inaccurate or incomplete information provided by the client
  • Partial Use: Use of any delivered documents or services, even if additional services were not utilized

Subscription Plan Completion

Once your subscription period ends and all included services have been made available (regardless of utilization), no refunds will be provided. This includes:

  • Unused revision cycles
  • Consultation sessions not scheduled
  • Additional services offered but not claimed

  • Service failure entirely due to CV Jamaica
  • Technical errors or duplicate charges
  • Cancellations within the 48-hour cooling-off period

Currency & Exchange Rates

Refunds are processed in the original currency of purchase. For international transactions, exchange rate fluctuations may affect the final refunded amount.
